Put A Ring On It…….

Why is it so hard for the new generation of men to get married? That has been the million dollar question here lately and after watching the T.I& Tiny show, it has us ladies wanting to know. Not saying that a man should marry the first good chick he meets. But if you are dating someone for 6 or more years, I think it's safe to say the next step should be marriage. I totally understand if the relationship is mutual and you both agree marriage is not something you want. But to be with someone that long and not feel she is worthy is "B.S". I don't care how much a man love a women and how everyone knows it, the only thing that continuing to be with her proves is she is good enough to be with but not to marry. Ladies I am not about to let you off the hook (myself included) if marriage is what you want you need to make it CLEAR. And if that's not what he wants you have to be strong enough to walk away. Of course you don't want a man to think he has to marry you the first day he meets you, but he has to be open to the idea of marriage and he has to know you will not be with him for a million years and don't get a ring!! I think men and woman are afraid of the unknown, and with marriages ending everyday it seems as if marriage is not the thing to do. One thing that really bothers me is when people speak about being married to married couples and they try to discourage them not to be married. Every couple and relationship experience different things so don't put the weight of you marriage on others. While talking some years ago with a group of co workers, the question about marriage came up and the person that was married simply said "its hard work, but when done right it's a beautiful thing" this was coming from some who had been married and divorced. It would have been too easy for her to bash marriage, but for what? Life deals everyone a different hand so don't compare yours with the next persons. While watching a TV show Sunday and Niecy Nash made a comment about love " that's the reason we are here is to be in love and love others, if you lose that you have lost you reason for being here" not exactly in those words because she actually said it better…. But I totally agree with her!!! LIVE AND LOVE…… And when it knocks you down get up again!!
